it has been a long time since the percussionists last blogged. so, i'm just gonna blog this once.

so far, we have great juniors. for the sec twos, we have ashikin, qazimah, heng long, sen yang, joel, albert and mi kha.

we also have additional members to the percussion family - zhang qi who's in secondary four this year. and also, two new sec ones - derrick and a china boy whose name i've forgotten. heh.

i hope that 2008 will be a great year for the percussionists. hopefully, we will stay as one and will not drift apart.

i love my section! you guys will always be on my heart! (:

28th Nov is our dearest SL's birthday!

we sang for her a birthday song, and she cut the cake!
YAY!
then then, we ate the cake!
it was damn YUMMYYY!

Okay, for the juniors who read this blog, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BUCK UP!
You all will take over percussion next year, and all the four of us would be graduating.
Before we go, we hoped to teach you guys everything that we knows.
BUT! If you guys are still giving those "i-dont-care" attitude.
Then how else do you want us to teach you, if we teach you, then you pretend to practise very hard, and when we turns our back, you forget everything we taught you.
Sometimes its not that we want to scold you guys or what, but its that we hope you guys could grow up. We seniors are very worried about percussion.
WHY? Because we dont have a sec 2 batch with us. So meaning, you guys would be in charge of percussion alreadys. Next year, we would be leaving in like maybe august. Then you guys have to know everything that we learned in these four years by that time, can you guys make it? I knew you guys could make it, if you guys work super hard, we knew you guys have the potential.
Tmr is the national day rehearsal, i hoped you guys are ready by tmr. PLEASE PLEASE BE READY. For tmr, we seniors hoped to see the serious side of all of you, when its time to crap and play, let crap and play crazily, but when its time to be serious, please give in you best and treat it seriously. You dont hope to be embarass yourself in front of the whole school, do you? SO YA! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BUCK UPPPP!!!

To our ex- seniors and seniors: THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! Now we realised how hard it is to be a senior. Thanks for all of you guys tolerating over our crappy attitude! LOVE YOU GUYS! :D

how dead is this blog?? very very dead!! since nobody's updating this blog, i shall just do a brief update. the percussion outing was a success! everyone bonded! (: and all of us enjoyed the outing!! and during the rehearsal at tjc, the sec 3 percussionists showed a video that we all put a bit of effort into to the graduating seniors. it was a touching moment for all of us as we walked down memory lane, as we remembered back the good memories and bad memories that we spent as a section. together as a section, we managed to go through all the challenges that we faced. and now, bv percussion is as strong as it is and it is getting stronger ans stronger as our bond as a section is getting stronger.

Sorry for e lack of updating.Nowadays so busy.LOL. Yesterday went to yuying secondary for the musical exchange. They are sooooo friendly. HAHAS. Not we dao..we are just SHY~ ^^ pasir ris secondary percussionists also very friendly =D Everyone is so pro. Honestly we did badly yesterday.It doesnt sound like wat we used to sound like during the practises. Mr fahmi was so upset that we didnt did our best. T.T okay...so next saturday is our last chance, so...WE WILL TRY OUR BEST!

okay.. i shall blog today!! well, what happened.. lets see.. um, we have new mallets and timpani sticks!! finally!! the sticks are damn nice!! then then we didnt have warm up.. we did tuning and then played bandolero.. this time we played the song the whole day.. we really played it lah.. until like all the parts that we play wrongly mr fahmi noticed it. and he told us to practice the parts.. and he didn't scold us today.. he just talk to us like that.. good lah like that.. then then we went for 15 mins break then continued to play bandolero.. then then mr fahmi talked to us about the band and all that.. then then band finished... what happpened to percussionists today:
ezekiel- he was standing at the marimba and he burped so loud that i can hear it frm the timpani.. rachel: she was having flu... audrey: her lips become red... samuel: he is horny today.. chen chen: found out that the bass drum stick some how has holes at the side.. yu ning: played the temple blocks better today than on tuesday.. me: brought sweets agin and ate kinder bueno after band!!

ok since i felt the blog was somehow collecting DUST and mould and fungi(is it the same as mould?) and whatever useless particles around, i decided to be that very nice CARIN AND POST!

its gonna be allll about my life so sorry guys! but nevermind ill add in bits and pieces of you guys =D

alrighty then..school in sa(no not ac), is kinda weird =/ i mean there arent any more band pracs to look forward to, and walking around the school, especially the canteen, is scary beacuse all the jc2 people will stare. =/

makes me very selfconscious!

school right now is duper slack coz they just gave out a timetable of lectures, and we only have to attend those we need to..which isnt alot compared to the number of subjects. so its like, if there are 10 lectures, we might only have to go for one. like on monday! WHOO!

oh ya talking about lectures..the teachers are WEIRD. especially the chem teacher! she asked us to do some example on the worksheet and a guy laughed so she went 'WHAT SO FUNNY ABOUT EXAMPLE 4?! ARE YOU SICK?!'

wth.

and the geog teacher! some guy came in late and he went 'are you sure you're in the right class??? this is history yknow!' and the guy actually believed him! hahaha.

jc life is weird for now...without you guys there! i mean at least in bedok view you get people sneaking up behind your back and saying HI CARIN! but right here you dont know ANYONE. the people you know are usually right at your side coz you stick together like some gluedatthebutt kind of thing. =(

anyway thats about it..i miss you guys! that day when i went back there were so little people! when's the next proper practice? i miss seeing you guys play.. =(

Okays... Long time nv saw my name right?! haha... anyway e sec1 orientation day passed... and our band hv 71 new members name but mostly only e half of it will really join band. So played e two SYF pcs today. Listened to e recording tt we took on last friday in SCH. i cant hear bassdrum! T.T but everyobe got improvement at least. ^^ haha i love e gong part!!! After that a girl call fangfang joined percussion. she is 15 yrs old and is a new student in our school. so..ya WELCOME HER clap*clap* PERCUSSION is soooo sweet can? everyone talked to her. Samuel is so nice.he tried to communicate with her. Dunnoe wat happen to samuel today. He is so dramatic today, he was like dancing all e time. -.- ezekiel also very dramatic..but we used to it le. =x hahas. o ya o ya!!! OUR DEAREST CARIN CAME AND VISIT US YESTERDAY! HOW SWEET!! she even bought us presents. THANKYOU CARINNNN.

today is our 2nd day for our combust, everything was going on fine. rachel was addressing the sec ones, samuel plays the drumset when the sec ones ask him to play, audrey and yu ning were at the mallets, chen chen was at the snare drum, pei ying was at the bass drum and i was at the timpani. ezekiel went out to help the tuba section practice after he helped with combust and after which he came back again to help with the combust... everything was okay until... we found out somebody had taken a pair of the band's drumsticks.. we looked everywhere but we couldnt find it and in the end me and pei ying followed the class and we need to scream and shout to the class to settle down so that we could settle the matter but in the end, we left the peer leaders in-charge of the class, shikin and rachel, to help us settle the matter. and in the end, the drumsticks cannot be found at all....

okay... since today nobody bloggy... i shall bloggy again.. today band started with loads of scolding from mr fahmi... and most of the scoldings goes to the percussion section... and in the end, we ended up having a bad mood during the practice... it was so nonsense seh... and after that we played sunrise... and i missed a note... and i got scolded for it... come on lah.... i wasn't supposed to play timpani for that song sia.... and i am still not sure where and when to come in because i am the one who had been playing the song since beginning and the song is also quite complicated after the bird calls and blah blah... and after that we played bandolero and i got scolded... again... wth sia... i didn't play the triplets properly and he already scolded me like what like that... haix... he is not understanding at all... haix... and after that he questioned us for why the gong is not being played and who dismantled the gong etc.... and tomorrow we are going to singapore conference hall to rehearse for syf... hopefully everything goes on fine, aite?? good luck to all the percussionists!! :D

hello!! my turn to bloggy!! but i cannot really remember what happened eh... but i this is what i remembered... um, well, we had band practice at mr ishak's room so we had to bring nearly all the instruments to the third floor..... then, we played bandolero and sunrise amd played some other songs for the orientation on the first day of school. we played i'm so excited, fairytale and reach out, i'll be there... and during lunch break, the sec 2s went to tampines mall and bought the stuffs for the gifts that we are giving for the next year sec ones.... and samuel was also school when we were going there and we forced him to but the stuffs with us but in the end he didn't... and after that we ate lunch at mcdonalds with darren ng (he followed us)... and when we came back to school samuel told us that the angklung people needed a bass drummer and snare drummer and since the rest didn't want to help them out, i volunterred to help them out to play the bass drum and samuel played the snare drum but when we wemt to the hall, we couldn't find the teacher and in the end we got to know that he had already been waiting for us since one and left after waiting for us for don't know how long and me and samuel need to him again tomorrow to practice with him.. and oh yar, we had marching again this morning as somehow, the video for static part A was gone as so we needed to march again!! all in all i think today is a tiring day... in a way...

hmm....ok the camp is over. 3days 2night. It was a little bit sad when this time e percussion wasnt there tgt. Cause our dear audrey was sick T.T take cares okay! We miss you too. Ezekiel was oversea. And peiying, her eyes swollen on e second day so she went home. peiying take cares too!
So e first day in e morning is play games.Then is sectionals/tuitorship. Mr chua taught us how to play single stroks and double.He is damn pro. T.T He gave us his drum pad to practise and e first day tuitorship was over. I think e tuitorship is really good.so went for lunch. The lunch is nice cause....it was planned by e SEC 2S muahahahahahaha! =.=ll after lunch is combine in ava.I cant play my part well...everytime i lost count... =.=ll haha. and everytime when there is a break for percussion(other section playing) almost everyone fall alseep.=x cause really very tired after only 4hrs of sleeping.(after e jurongville concert) i will update some photos next time i think.then is footdrill.Almost every 10mins it started to rain,so we need carry e drum run to canteen and then rain stops then carry e drum run to parada square again.keep on running here and there so didnt march much.After e foot drill is games again. I think e sec1s did a good job cause e game is nice.After e game is dinner. Again it is nice cause...it was planned by e SEC2s muahahahahahaha.=.=ll After e dinner everyone go shower. All i heard when i bathing is "XIAO QIANG! GOT XIAO QIANG( cockcroach) ! argggghhhhhh.'' i also dunnoe wher xiaoqiang went at last.after e shower is e hongkong video,salman(correct?=x) and Carin came and visit us and took some photos. The video bring back lots of memories. T.T after e video went for supper.After that went to sleep.=.=ll i heard '' meiii~ meiii~''someone is dreaming a sheep i think =x yawns...i so tired...later then post second and third day bahx... ahahahahahaha

THINGS THAT I'LL REMEMBER ABOUT MY SECTION

HERE ARE THE THINGS THAT I'LL REMEMBER OF THE 8 PEOPLE IN MY SECTION

1) Carin- everyone loves her!! :) she is friendly and understanding and is also a great ex-sectional leader and senior!! she loves green and we made the section t-shirt green!! :) and the thing i'll remember about her is that she is easily touched by anything that is sincere!

2) audrey- a senior who doesn't like to rate people. she is also friendly and caring and a great senior!! and the thing i'll remember about her is that, never touch her face, her hair or her hands. :)

3) ezekiel- a senior who sometimes makes us laugh with his funny reactions and his body language when he's playing songs during band. and the thing that i'll remember about him is that he gels his hair until he looks like a dinosour. he gels his hair up like the scales on the dinosour! :)

4) rachel- a senior who always comforts you when you're down. she would listen to your problems and try to confort you and give you advice to your problem. and the thing i'll remember about her is that if you smack her butt too hard or poke her in the stomach, she will yell, "PAIN!!":)

5) samuel- the current sectional leader. so far, he is a not bad type of a sectional leader. whenever we play our parts wrongly, he will teach us how to play the part correctly and sometimes he lets us slack during sectionals also. and the thing that i'll remember about him is that he has a mushroom head and his fringe some how forms the letter M! :)

6) pei ying- the back-up timpani player. she is my crapping and b**ching partner. she can be quite funny with her jokes and stuffs and she treasures friendship. and the thing i'll remember about her is that she is quite vain and brings more than 2 mirrors in her bag. and whenever she doesn't need to play anything for the song, she will open her bag and take out her mirror and take a look at herself. :)

7) chen chen- she will do anything to make you rest when you're sick. she would even sing to you a lullaby. haha!! she can is one of the mastermind of the percussion outings and this blog. without her and pei ying, this blog will not even exist now. and the thing that i'll remember about her is that she brought her pillow to band practice. and her pillow is actually a stufffed pig. and she brought her pillow on that day because she was feeling tired and sleepy during band. :)

8) yu ning- she is like made of stone or something because whenever a person pokes her, she won't be shocked or anything. and she's also hard to cry like for eg during the previous band camp, pei ying and chen chen were crying even before we read our card to carin and yu ning only cried when carin came over to the section and talked to us. and the thing that i'll remember about her is that she hates it whenever i'm vulgar and once she even said to me "can you stop being so vulgar?" and i would like to thank her for telling that to me because she has changed me!! thanks!!

ok actually i think its supposed to be hello singapore but whocares point is, WE'RE BACK BACK BACK! dont we all miss singapore! MUAH TO SG!

ok i dont remember what exactly happens on which particular day but ill try..

first VERYTIRING day:
why couldnt we have gone back to the hotel first =( me and von were so 'i-wanna-go-back-to-the-hotel-ly'. anyway if i remember correctly we went tooooooooooo...ok we went victoria's peak, mdm ey shit i cant remember!

HOKAY. shant do it this way.

mdm tussuands(spelling?) was abit freaky at times coz of the statues of dead people but it was damn fun! marilyn monroe's upskirt thingo! and beckham! and ANDY LAU! xiangyi and i agree he's damn handsome! shutup all you people who dont think so..HE IS OK! suaveeeee *drools* alrighty! the souveniers were a tad expensive but whats a holiday! and rach xl von and yt! send me photos! so all in all it was interesting! it was like a maze and you gotta find your way to the next room! and they were all standing in different poses not just put there so it was pretty good..

avenue of stars was booooriingggg.. just a road with names of stars i have never even heard of!!! photo-takin was pretty cool though! huijia and xl couldnt get up muahahhahah! =D

i dont know why they brought us to victoria's peak yknow..is it like, the highest place or something? how come i cant remember anything special?

and ocean park! JELLYFISH!!!!! so sad man they took out the baby sharks for display..=( the jellyfish display thingo was very frustrating..so many people so it was pretty rushed..the rides!! genting's swing ride is WAY better but OMG THAT wheel thingo! so giddy!!! and mr fahmi took it too! 'mr fahmi where's your twist!!' and that teacher(cant remember her name sorry) who went with us took three consecutive times! record! yay! it was fun! though we actually took it to dry our clothes..that water ride's better here! and HAHA rach and von got SO wet! =P oh ya we didnt get to see the dolphins =( and the cable car ride! haha a little scary for some but for the rest i think its quite boring..how fun can a cable car ride get?

chenchen just told me we went to the beach ont he first day! wouldnt have remembered it =P i dont think the beach was the main point but that was the most fun part of that place.. the beach is SO empty man! imagne silosa/palawan beach being THAT empty.. WHOO! HEAVEN! ok maybe not..no one to laugh at. =D oh ya that place is called repulse something..what were we supposed to look at?

hokay then there's..the two exchanges! you all can have andy i want my own cute guy! =D he's so helpful ok..not like andy just take photo HAHHAHAHHHAA. i thought we played better for the first school..anyone agrees? i think its due to pressure coz they're SO DARN GOOD my goodness oneandahalfhour of practice only and they're THAT standard!? *bows* their school campus looks like flats but they have lifts!(ey flats have lifts too!) so relieved they could all speak at least chinese..the boys school could speak english pretty well! especially my cute guy *swoooons* hahaha ok ill stop.

what else is there? OH YA! shopping! ladies street was WAY better man. is temple street men's street? if so, why are the things sold there SO MUCH MORE GIRLY!? haiyo. shopping was alright la..had to beware of pickpockets so we had to carry out bags infront..looked retarded HAHA. things there arent so cheap but it was so fun bargaining! '25 la..cannot?ok nevermind *walks out*' and you can be sure they'll go 'ey hao la hao la!!(ok la la ok la)25 25..' HA! it was like a realllllllll loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong pasamalam(spelling?) so cool!

ok BEST PART!! SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPALIDOCIOUS DISNEYLAND!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
it was small yes(maybe coz we didnt walk the whole of it) but it was enough!! AHHHH!! two little ponytails and prancing around! OMG THE FIREWORKS you should buy a ticket to hk just for the fireworks you'll still think its worth it!! WE TOOK PICTURES WITH STICH POOH CHIP AND DALE ETCETC!!!!!! gino was so mesmerized by sleeping beauty! omg their costumes are like cutting them out from the actual cartoon. they are GORGEOUS. belle(beauty and the beast) was so pretty! we didnt take all the rides so ill just touch on those that we felt were GOOD.

first up: mickey's phillarmagic!! MAGICAL MAN! the 3D effects and the smell and water and wind and everything OMG SO NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE!!!!!!!! me and gino liked the jewels part! so pretty ok! and so funny you could see people reaching out to touch them when in actualy fact they're just virtual images heehee..

oh then there's the teacup ride! hahaha it isnt fantastic but SO FUN! round and round the mulbuerry bush! HAHA!

oh then there's that spacemountain or something MYGOOOOOODNESS!!! so scary!!! we all thought we would plunge down! and the stars and the darness made the ride even scarier! xiangyi oculdnt get over his fringe! haha!

oh and the pooh's story! THE GRAPHICS!! DAMN NICE! beats any movie man!!!! its so near to you and the sound's so loud it surrounds you! just awesome really!

the parade!! wasnt that fantastic actually..just see the people walking and dancing around..they were ALL in beat though! they must be SO right on time man!

the best part of disneyland was most probably the neverending music! keeps us all ALIVE AND KICKING! and i really mean kicking. like you get the energy of running and jumping around! and the rides(e.g space mountain mickey's phillarmagic and pooh one) had music SO loud it made it SO much better. really!

oh yes the fountain when you first go in is so nice man! disneyland's so full of nice things!! every little detail all thought out perfectly! anyone wondered why the speakers werent so obvious and unsightly? why everything was so disney-ish! even the shops and the trees and the lights!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH *faints* i wanna go there again =(

oh yes not to forget popcorn and cotton candy! yumm. i think we're all gonna get either hypertension or diabetes or lung cancer. from all the salty food, lack of water plus lots of cupnoodles and chocolates, and the copious amounts of CIGARETTE SMOKE HOW DO THEY LIVE THERE!

and MAIN POINT OF 2nd DAY!
on the 28th of november WE HAD CAKE for a very special member of perc family!!! thank you nicholas for hiding it so well =D HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY CHENCHEN WE ALL LOOOOOOVE YA! MUAH! although it was supposed to be a surprise, its alright! we still had fun =D

ok random things we thought about the trip:

how come they're signboards are HUGE!? dont they fall off?
why isnt it cold =(
it was very rushed..so it was tiring i guess
the hotel's nice but not nice..smaller than gentings but better furnished than genting..theyve got better basins!
breakfast was bad =(
they have hiding places everywhere in the hotel!(lobby especially)

ya im sure everyone knows there were unhappy stuff..the trip couldve been much greater, but lets not brood over them..its OVER! O.V.E.R? band still rocks and we shouldnt let something that smallsmallsmallertinyminutemicroscopic break ALL of us up. =D

so all in all, the trip was good... not fantastically awesome but GOOD. better than good coz its GOOD so YAY!

i'd also like to thank alll the people who hanged out together with me and made this trip SO VERY MUCH BETTER =D rachel xiangluan yvonne gino and xiangyi! love alllllllllll every single one of you right to your very toes (like rachel's very pretty toenails)

HELLOS! omg, i back from hongkong.. but but but.. i'm sick.. -.-Zzz i'm having a flu and some cough.. was quite miserable at hongkong, but i really did enjoy myself there.. ok, i'm gonna update about the trip for the past 5 daes there.. 27th November 2006 (Monday)went to the airport, check in and all and arrive at hongkong about 2-3pm.. went for the city tour in hongkong and went to a place when there are many statues by the beach.. took photos and we went to Madame Tussauds, it's a place where many famous hongkong actors' and actress' statues are and we could take photos wif them.. but fake lah.. lols.. after that, went to 1 of hongkong's jewelery shop and we saw many rubies and other things like jewelery lah.. hahas.. after that, had dinner and arrive at the hotel.. got our room keys and stayed at the hotel..
28th November 2006 (Tuesday)woke up in the morning at 7 plus and it's our performance day! had breakfast in the hotel and gathered at the lobby.. headed to the first sch which is Tsuen Wan Government Secondary School and had our music exchange.. the sch is cool.. and before the exchange we had to interact wif their students.. gave them some of the bookmarks we had made and after the exchange, had lunch in their sch.. erm.. no comments on the food but maybe it's becos i'm sick so the food wasn't that nice to me.. hehes.. after lunch, rushed to the second sch which is Wah Yan College, Kowloon. omg, the sch got shuai ge leh.. hahas.. it's a all boys' sch.. and als had our performance there and they prepare a sch tour for us.. we tour around their sch and our "tour guide" was ryan.. =) nice guy.. but i forgot to give my book mark to him.. -.-" but nvm.. it's over anyway.. exchanged msn and we left their sch happily.. hahas.. after all this.. i felt relaxed, at least no more stress about performance anymore.. yays! it was free and easy after the exchange and the real tour guide took us to nu ren street for shopping! =D after shopping, had our dinner and headed back to the hotel.
29th November 2006 (Wednesday)woke up at bout 8 plus in the morning, had breakfast and we are heading to HongKong Disneyland!! =DD we will be in the disneyland all day.. took some of the rides and took photos.. i love the ride space mountain.. it's like panasonic lah.. but it's even more cool den panasonic.. it's faster and it's really dark in there.. COOL! had noodles for lunch in the disneyland and i must say that disneyland things are expensive.. bought 2 mickey cups for me and my brother.. yays! so cute.. and omg, the fireworks in the disney land was damn nice lah.. so beautiful manx.. took a lot of pictures of it.. left disneyland about 7 plus going 8pm.. went shopping at tsing yi mall and had mcdonald for our dinner.. -.-Zzz i tell you, we can't live in hongkong juz by talking chinese to them.. some do not understand.. like for example, i and joyce went to order for our mcdonald, the gal ask us which meal we wanted, we juz point and say the number meal, den she was like ok, den when joyce asked for curry sauce, the gal gave her tomato sauce or don't know wat chilli sauce.. LOL lah.. den we was like aiya.. nvm lah.. no choice.. hahas.. was not feeling that well and many ppl in hongkong was smoking.. wtf? the smell irritates my throat lah.. damn shit.. took the hongkong public bus back to the hotel.. i mean XIAO BA! haha.. so cute lor.. i love the mini bus in hongkong.. =)) back to the hotel liao..
30th November 2006 (Thursday)had breakfast in the morning as usual and something funny happen.. hahas.. as i said, we can't live in hongkong just by speaking madarin, ok, the thing is like this, first, all of us would have a coupon to enter into the cafe for breakfast, so i and yanting gave the coupon to the guy liao.. so we went in to take our food, and we walked in, the waiter speak to us in cantonese, he was actually asking us, whether we had give our coupon already a not.. but we don't understand a thing, so both of us were like HUH?! to him.. den yanting any how say ya ya.. give le in madarin.. but anyway, we did give wat.. lols.. so we went to have our breakfast.. we went to the victoria peak, erm.. aberdeen something de and avenue of stars.. xing guang da dao.. so nice.. took photos also.. had our lunch and den proceed on the OCEAN PARK! this park is cool lor.. i bought a dolphin back.. hahas.. so cute.. and played all the highland rides.. met nicholas huang and samuel on the way, and we drack him to sit the viking.. pirate ship wof us.. hahas.. and for ur info, the pirate ship is not like singapore, it damn high lah.. nicholas and sitting beside me and when the ship goes up, he was shivering lah! omg.. he screamed when going down.. hahas.. it was fun lah.. but at least he was better den sam.. sam didn't even dare to sit.. LOL.. after that, we went shopping again.. practically we were shopping almost every nite lah.. hahas.. and we went to the temple street this time.. and it's the nan ren street.. LOLS.. bought loads of things there and headed back to the hotel le.. time seriously pass very fast.. it's the second last day in hongkong le.. the next day had to go back to singapore..
1st December 2006 (Friday)last day in hongkong.. we woke up late today and stayed in the hotel until it's noon time.. i seriously miss hongkong lah.. after all this went to collect our lao po bing and headed to the hongkong international airport.. check in and all.. and i have to say bye bye to hongkong.. reached singapore bout 8pm in the airport and went home.
well, i'm back in singapore.. i seriously miss hongkong lah.. i'm gonna visit hongkong sometime later.. and maybe i would emigrate there in future.. hongkong is a great place! =DD alrights, this is for today.. enjoy reading my experience in hongkong! i'm sick.. okies!! today's my turn to bloggy!! hehe!! okies today band was okay. audrey was eating bread during the tuning!! lol!! and me and audrey had to play our retarded part for the retarded song- adorable roses... and.. carin and rachel were drooling over this singer called elvin ng from the 8 days magazine that i bought. he's seriously hot lah!! and yu ning removed her braces already!! and rachel, chen chen and audrey were forcing her to smile!! keke!! and pei ying tried to play the timpani for i'm so excited but she cound'nt pass it and when i tried to play timpani for fairytale, i coundn't pass it either... ;( hehe!! lol!! the both of us changed our parts for the timpani. heh!! and samuel forgot how to play the timpani!! hehe!! he was supposed to play the timpani for super trouper because i couldn't play the song for the open house on the 25th of november as i am leaving for hk on that day.(i'm going there on my own) keke!! and he also forgot the tuning and the notes for timpani, i think.. hehe!! and ezekiel played the cymbals for march beyond the critical point. i think his hands were hurting half way through the song because he was suddenly the playing the cymbals softly on the 2nd part of the song. hehe!! okies now it is 4 more days left to hong kong trip!! yay!! hehe!! and chen chen, happy b'day in advance!! hehe!!

MEMEME ! my turn ! heh. Today we have to play the retarded songs again, ke ai de mei gui hua and yue liang dai biao wo de xin -.- STOP PLAYING THAT SONG PLEAASEEE. Today, audrey finally played most of the parts for yue liang dai biao wo de xin ! hehe ! but then when my part came... fahmi said " vib, the cords have 3 notes, not two" smth like that anywae, then rach came to my rescue ! " but we only have two pairs of sticks, the other pair is with py for sus.cym." BUT fahmi had to make me play with three sticks -.- then py use the TIMPANI sticks to play sus.cym.
So wierd can?

Then ! after sometime Carin came !!! teehee. our beloved senior. ;] so paiseh, she watch us play, she must be dissapointed cos i play until very lousy. lols. oh well, then xiangluan and the others came to our section, my sweet was gone by half, cos everybody took one. hahha ! i got a new sticker too, made by xiangluan " i love xiangluan" was written on it. o.0 few others got it too. lol !

Its ME again!!!lolx.. actually shld be peiying's turn...but cause...today is her BIRTHDAY!!

Like we will hit your water bottle, step your shoe,hit your hand++++ haha sounds we so evil everytime bully u ya. Anyway dun forget is also because of u percussion started to become united.how come?! remember? percussion first time play tgt is when we all hit your water bottle and play ture or dare. sweet memories right =D good luck for everything u do. lolx..okay now is for band... today band start at 8.30!! omg damn early can,cause e tuitor will nt be coming for this week.So we played SYF song in the morning. I think after the tuitorship we really improved...even if u cant see those small parts but to us improvment is very important =D At the begining of the band samuel look dead.=p we all thought he was sick.and then after awhile he become alive again...back to e retard(slow) samuel. Ain and samuel same situation la...she keep on saying sleepy.and then ate all the mentos!! cute right~LOLx...anyway morning is quite sian la.. haha then went for lunch. After the longg two hours we went for band again.We played two new song one is "adorable rose(ke ai de mei gui hua)"and "moon reprensent my heart(yue liang dai biao wo de xin)" haha two very old but cute song...i mean cute for adorable rose. =D then..then...the worse thing came...when i playing drumset for adorable rose..my leg suddenl cramp!! omgg...very pain T.T anyway thanks to samuel who helped to play the rest of the part as i cant continue anymore.thanks to e others who care for me also =D and thanks ezekiel for the water =D haha...then after that samuel play drumset for moon reprensents my heart..he got three bar FILL IN u noe!!! so funny,haha.but i think he've done quite well.then is beyond the critical point.Audrey was scolded by mr fahmi for the bass drum. Okay..my turn again... everyone is so busy nowadays. LOLx today went for band at 130.for the hongkong trip briefing.ALL THE PERCUSSION MEMBERS are going! yay~ so united hur!Then...we started to play all e songs for the performance...haha. And...CARIN came! omggg!! we so miss u!! haha.. e most sad thing happened today..is that mr fahmi canceled e tico-tico.HOW CAN HOW CAN!! we practised it hard okay?! so i and carin keep on insist on playing,so we will work 101% hard now and try to let mr fahmi know that we can do it and can perform during hongkong trip! WORK HARD PERCUSSIONISTS!! haha. hmm..i think its all about e day here. nono! weifeng ask me to write this"SAXOPHONE ROX MORE!'' which ofcause shows she is lying =x LOL haha percussion rawks okay!

10 November 2006....Friday...
HArloos!~~ Its me again:D TODAY band was fun!!! Went school at 8 plus and then to me and Ain's surprise our dearest SL actually came earlier then us!!! So" ONCE IN A BLUE MOON "!! Haha,Chenchen was late... Today was fun.. We need new triangle,new tuner for timpani,new suspended cymbals,new cymbals stand,new timpani if possible and of course new drumset :)... We used the drumset suspended cymbals stand for hanging just a simple triangle,and changed the old suspended cymbals with the drumset suspended cymbals. Haha,and then samuel teo have to play the tambourine and the castanet to teach ezekiel and rachel as they went for course. Haha,and then he kept on applying wax to row the tambourine better.LOLx.. Haha,then the tutor suddenly became very aggitated and he said "the only problem with you is you are retard." Which actually he means slower lah...and the chenchen thought that the tutor say the only problem with you is you are a idiot...and she was like laughing like mad.
Then after the tutor left,samuel TEO start to use his stick to hit my injection hand,and i hit him back and then he tried to hit me when to my rescue YuNing hit him on the back, and then he tried to hit YuNing when Chenchen and Ain came to our rescue and then poor samuel then realised he is the only guy against the four juniors...And then Chenchen said to him that this is what gonna happen when he was in sec 5...HAHA...The rest will be posted by dunno who...HAHAHA..(actually part of this post is copy and paste from my blog=.=) HAHA...
So our countdown... 17 days more to hongkong!! Wheets!~~

hellos!! =D today is my turn to bloggy! hahas.. well, today is the NCO passing out parade.. omg! it so damn rocks manx.. =D saw many band and drum majors.. the 32 guy is veri shuai hor?? hahas.. lol.. alrights, band today was quite ok la.. played bandolero story.. and some hong kong pieces.. finally, i went for the tutorship today.. but i didn't do much there la.. in fact, don't have.. HAHAHA. dots.. ok, hmmm.. actually i'm kinda tired.. but i juz wanna say.. PERCUSSION RAWKS!! i seriously appreciate the times and years in percussion section, we have gone through a lot.. so yea, all of us rock la.. hahas.. anyway, all the best for carin's Os and rmb to take care of ur health to all percussion members and band members.. hongkong trip is coming soon.. countdown to hongkong trip: 17 daes!! bye ppl!

Tuesday....7 November 2006....
Band was okay today....Well,for percussion blog right...I decided to make a playlist of band songs in a plug-in,so i hope those people who have band songs can send to me online or add to my sharing folders....Thank you....Your help will be much appreciated...:)
Today we played a few songs...Super Trouper,and Reason....Chenchen played the drumset,JiaYou chenchen!!!^^ Percussion will always be there for you!!! We were supposed to play I'm so excited but because Samuel was sick and was unable to play the drumset so we changed to Fairytale. Fairytale sounded quite strange without drumset playing....I think i have to practise more on my timpani le...especially rolling!! After all practises make perfects!!^^ Haha...CARIN!!! We miss you alot!!! ALL THE BEST for your O Levels!!! Looking forward to hk trip,and maybe on chenchen's birthday,we could celebrate for her in hk as a section^^?Okay....for our countdown...We have exactly 20 more days to hk!!! Haha..look forward,look forward cause we are visiting one ALL BOYS school!! Hope there are alot of shuai kers!!! :) Wheets!~~

YAY ! finally it's my turn ! yippeee ! lols. Hm okay, today we had tutoring from mr chua ! The drum major(tat's wad cc said) of singapore armed forces band ! He taught us how to hold our sticks and how to play some parts that we dont know. Hehe, then mr chua taught cc how to stop the sound of the bass drum, HAHA it was funny ! in order for the sound to stop completely, the bass drum have to be HUGGED ! teehee. Then i saw cc practicing hugging the bass drum. then ain wanted to hug it too -.-" We also learnt how to play the suspended cymbal in diff and correct ways.
Oh well, we learnt some stuffs here and there, still got homework somemore. =..= lols. The next lesson then we are going to put everything together! hope we will have some improvements, AT LEAST! :]
Btw!!! CARIN ! we will miiss you ! NOT ! haha joking joking. how can we not miss the butt smacker. teehee. cya someday !

Okay..back to my turn again...yuning will post for tmr as weekend ya. hmmm...everything juz become okay now and percussion revived again ..peiying and ain =D Today played march to the critical point(thanks to peiying cause i forget e name LOL) it was soooo nice!! Just then..e horrible thing started.. AUDREY gv e pinky thing back to RACHEL! omg hw can! poor me...nono..we shld say poor peiying~ her white colour shoe become dark colour shoe when we finish e march.W-H-Y? cause we stepped on it O.OV lol. And after e march we played syf song again...=.='' i think got improve bahx...at least a little?o.O orh...wat mr fahmi say is a bit true? mr fahmi: our band dun really have good drummer. arhhhh...nevermind! carin! believe us! we will work hard de! Lastly,sat and sun will hv a wat sale rite?selling all e band things... Bugis and Cityhall? Samuel asked peiying to buy cymbal! =.=''Tmr we will hv percussion tiutor come at 8 am.heard that e tuitor is e conductor from chaichee? Anyway,YUNING,get well soon ya =D

Okies, now its my turn to post. I'm the third one to post i think. Okies, um, today band was alright i guess. Well, lets see!! According to rachel, the vibraphone lost a rubberband and today's break was late. We had a break at around 5 instead of like around 4 or 4.30, like usual. And well, pei ying got a scolding from fahmi bcos she did'nt play her part correctly for fairytale. HAHA!! lol!! sorry pei ying!! i'm evil!! muhaha!! lol!! okies um, well we palyed thunderer while standing up today to prepare for the recording... and we were told that we had to perform for the school's open house on 25th november and that during the hk trip we needed to help the guzheng to carry their instruments bcos all of them are girls and rachel was complaning to fahmi that we are girls also but fahmi said that ya, we are girls, but we are girls with muscles!! haha!! lol!! and it's a good thing we didn't play bandolero story today, or else. i'll get a scolding i guess... well till here only!! i don't know if i had done a good job or not but if i hadn't, you guys can edit it or something or write another post. and um, do you guys want to make a new friendster profile for percussion?? leave your comments on the tag board, please. and now, it's i don't know how many days till the hk trip... okies!! till here!!

okay now its MY turn to post! well today the two heads, gino, fahmi and miss ong were having a VERY IMPORTANT MEETING. anyway it turned out to be not so important after all. HA! ya but practice was very slow... played march to the critical point!! and bondelero story... so sian la! play that one so many times lor... we only started playing at like i think 4? very very late because we had to move to the 3rd floor... and ezekiel got grounded!!!!! ah!!!!!! our very pro cymbal player!!!(+ accesories) i think its because of his results but if he had bad results then what about me?????? okay i am digressing but nothing really exciting happened today!!! besides the fact that we, or rather me, got caught for playing with hps but wth, miss ong did not say anything! haa... so lets continue what py started: 32 more days to HK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Carin!!!!! we miss you lots!!! come back quick and we can have lots of fun!!!! okay thats lame but we miss you lar...

alrighty here i am to post a, well post for all you lovelies.

ive never,ever been so touched before, all the things you guys did, the lollipops the shirt the kickass comb(i love it), and every little thing that happened during all the practices.. you guys really made that day, my day.

everything is just unforgettable really.. i remember ain whining when she had to play the timpani(we always had to drag you there), peiying always wanted the accessories, samuel flicking me with that stupid finger of his(BAH), chenchen wanting the drumset reallll bad, audrey always stuck to the marimba for warm up, trying to get ezekiel to learn mallets!!, yuning always brushing off the invisible dirt wherever i touch you,(heyhey this reminds me of that pervert issue HA),rachel always beside me whichever song it is, i feel weird without you beside me when im playing, all your horrible rolling, the butt-smacking, the stick throwing, the tickling, the stifling of laughter every tuning, giving out the symphonic band technique, screaming at you guys, laughing with you guys, crying with you guys..its endless.

i remember that band camp barbeque when you girls cried so much.. that was the most memorable ever. i never knew someone could cry that much for someone else.. it really really makes everything worth it..

i miss all the band camps, all the games and barbeques and late night activities, the band performances, musical exchanges, competitions, the overseas trips, every single band practice, every single sectionals.. i miss every little thing of all of you. even if i joined another band in another school it wouldnt be as great coz you guys are missing.

i love you guys to microscopic bits.

Okay today band...Well,it was a Friday and it was suppose to be Sectionals but today we had combine....We played the songs that we were going to play for the HongKong Trip!!!! Oh yah! Everyone of us in Percussion would be going for The HongKong trip!!!! Yeah^^!!~ *clapclaps* Hahaa... Band was fun today especially when we were eating sweets behind and trying not to be caught :D ...*ShhShh* Let us countdown to the Hongkong trip ba....its exactly 35 days^^..Yeah!~~ So looking forward to it^^

This is the second time that we have a percussion blog(as the first one had failed=.=''')...So decided to make the new blog was because that percussion really gets more united now^^!!
